Invoke Creation

Depicting a goddess calling something into being from the void, this piece started as a whimsical sketch from imagination that was done for the pure joy of making art. It wasn't originally intended as a response to the rapid invasion of AI in image making, but the heavy subject has undoubtedly been on my mind lately- with working on this piece often being a welcome reprieve. I hope the future of image making largely remains in the delight of bringing our ideas through our hands to the canvas, and not in regurgitated pixels stolen from fellow artists. It's what I'll continue to do, anyway. Perhaps this composition deserves a traditional painting instead of just this digital one...
